Terms of service
Last updated: 5 November 2026 (version 1.9)
These Terms explain the rules for using Linkento. We have tried to write them in plain language. Please read them, because by creating an account or using Linkento you agree to them.
1. About these Terms
Linkento (linkento.com) lets you build a single page that collects your links, and share it with one address. Linkento is operated by Konetisetty Venkateswara, an individual based in Bengaluru, India ("Linkento", "we", "us").
These Terms are an agreement between you and us. They work together with our Privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal data. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Linkento.
These Terms are published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
2. Who can use Linkento
You must be at least 13 years old to use Linkento. When you sign up, we ask for your date of birth to check this. You must give your real date of birth. You can add it only once; if it is wrong, email us and we will correct it. Giving a false date of birth breaks these Terms.
If you are between 13 and 18, you may use Linkento only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of Linkento. When you sign up, you confirm that they have agreed. While you are under 18, pages and links with an age limit of 18 or over stay closed to you when you are signed in. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to review or delete their child's account.
Only a person aged 18 or over, or a parent or guardian on their behalf, can buy a paid plan.
You may not use Linkento if you have been barred from using it before, or if using it would break the law where you live.
3. Your account
You can sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, change your password in Settings, use "Log out on all devices", and tell us at contact@linkento.com.
One account is for one person. Do not sell, transfer or share your account.
4. Your username and page address
Your username becomes your page address, for example linkento.com/yourname. Usernames are given out first come, first served. Some names are reserved and cannot be claimed.
You can change your username in Settings. When you do, your old address stops working, and someone else may later claim it.
We may take back or change a username if it impersonates someone, infringes someone's trademark or other rights, is misleading, or breaks these Terms. Where possible, we will tell you first.
5. Your content
"Your content" means everything you add to Linkento: your display name, bio, photos and images, links, link titles and descriptions, the fonts and designs you upload or create, and your page design.
You own your content. We do not claim ownership of it.
To run Linkento, we need your permission to use your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display, resize and format your content, only for the purpose of operating, showing and improving Linkento. For example, we need this to show your page to visitors, show previews in your dashboard, and create the image sizes that load quickly on phones.
This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that already exist in backups for a limited time, as described in our Privacy policy, and except for community designs as described in section 11.
We will not use your content in our own advertising or marketing without asking you first.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you add, and that your content follows these Terms and the law. If you upload a font, you confirm that its licence allows you to use it on a website.
6. Your page is public
When your page is published, anyone with the address can see it, and search engines may list it. If your page has an age limit (see section 8), visitors first see a warning or an age check, and we ask search engines not to list it. Visitors can copy or share what they see, and we cannot control what they do with it. Do not put anything on your page that you want to keep private.
You can hide your page at any time in Settings. While it is hidden, only you can see it.
7. Rules for content and conduct
You must not host, display, upload, change, publish or share any content that falls under the list below, and you must not link to it, except for links to adult content that follow the rules in section 8:
- belongs to someone else and you have no right to use;
- is obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit, paedophilic, invades another person's privacy (including bodily privacy), insults or harasses anyone on the basis of gender, is racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups on the grounds of religion or caste with the intent to incite violence;
- is harmful to children;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights;
- deceives or misleads people about where a message comes from, or knowingly and intentionally communicates misinformation, or information that is patently false and untrue or misleading in nature;
- impersonates another person;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or causes incitement to the commission of any cognisable offence, or prevents the investigation of any offence, or is insulting to other nations;
- contains software viruses or any other computer code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
- is an online game that is not permitted under Indian law, or advertises or promotes one; or
- breaks any law that is in force.
You also must not use Linkento to:
- run scams, phishing or fraud, or link to pages that steal passwords or payment details;
- sell or promote illegal goods or services;
- send spam, or create accounts in bulk or with automated tools;
- harass, threaten, bully or stalk anyone, or share someone's personal information without their permission;
- try to break into, overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer Linkento, or get around any limit, plan restriction or protection;
- use custom CSS or any other means to hide or cover the Report link, our policy links or "About this account" on your page;
- copy or collect data from Linkento with bots, scrapers or similar tools, except search engines that follow our robots.txt;
- fake or inflate visits or clicks on any page.
8. Links to other websites
Your page links to other websites. Those websites are not run by us. We are not responsible for their content, products, privacy practices or availability. Visiting them is at your own risk, under their own terms.
Links to adult content
Nothing on Linkento itself may be sexually explicit. You may link to websites with adult content only if all of these are true:
- the content is legal in India and where you live;
- everyone who appears in it is an adult and has agreed to appear in it;
- you turn on an age limit for your whole page or for each of those links, in Settings or in the link editor;
- everything on your Linkento page suits all ages, including your photo, display name, username, bio, background, link titles and link images; and
- it does not advertise, offer or arrange sexual services in person.
Never link to anything that sexualises a person under 18. We remove it, close the account, and report it to the authorities.
An age limit asks visitors to confirm a warning, or to give their date of birth, before they see your page or link. Visitors who are not signed in answer for themselves, so an age limit lowers the chance of a minor seeing adult content but cannot rule it out. You are responsible for choosing a suitable limit.
If we find a page that links to adult content without an age limit, or with one that is too low, we may add or raise the limit ourselves and lock it, hide links or the page, or close the account. While a limit is locked, you can make it stricter but cannot lower or remove it. If you think we made a mistake, contact us.
Short links
You can make short links on Linkento (addresses like linkento.com/s/your-ending) that send visitors to another website. The rules in section 7 apply to every short link and to the website it leads to. In particular, do not use short links to hide where a link goes in order to mislead people, for phishing, malware, spam or scams, or to get around a block by another service. How many short links you can keep depends on your plan (see our pricing page); anyone can make up to 20 a day.
We may switch off or delete a short link, without notice, if it breaks these Terms, if we receive a credible report about it, or if it is used to cause harm. A link switched off by us stays off until we review it. Endings are given on a first-come basis; we may take back an ending that uses someone else's brand or name in a misleading way. A short link stops working when you delete it or your account.
9. Tools, connected accounts and your visitors
Tools that collect visitors' details
Some tools let visitors send you their details: Book a call (name, email address, and optionally a phone number and a note), Book a table (name, phone number, email address and optionally a note), Email sign-up (email address) and the contact form (email address, message and optionally a name). When you use these tools:
- You decide what happens to those details, and you are responsible for using them lawfully: only for the reason the visitor gave them to you, and in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and any other law that applies to you. We store and process them on your behalf to run the tool, as described in our Privacy policy.
- If you email people on your list, include a way to stop receiving your emails, and stop when they ask. Do not add people who did not sign up.
- Do not use these tools to collect passwords, payment card details, government ID numbers or health information.
Tracking pixels, email-list sync and auto-replies (Ultra)
On the Ultra plan you can add your own Meta Pixel or Google Analytics to your page, send confirmed sign-ups to your own Mailchimp or Kit account, and send an automatic reply to people who use your contact form. When you turn these on:
- the services you connect (Meta, Google, Mailchimp or Kit) receive data about your visitors or subscribers under your agreement with them, and you are responsible for that use;
- Linkento asks each visitor before your pixel loads, and it loads only for visitors who allow it. You must not try to get around this, and you remain responsible for how you use the data and for anything else the law requires of you;
- your automatic reply must not contain spam, advertising your visitor did not ask for, or anything that breaks section 7.
We may switch off any of these for a page that misuses them.
Connected accounts
You can connect YouTube, Spotify and Google Calendar to show your videos and music and to keep booked times free. For Google Calendar, we only ask Google for the times you are busy, not what your events are. You can disconnect any of them at any time in Tools. Their own terms also apply to your use of them.
Linkento shows YouTube videos using YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel or adding a YouTube block, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
Auto DMs (Instagram)
Auto DMs sends your message as a private reply to people who comment one of your keywords on your Instagram posts. When you use it:
- you need an Instagram professional account (Creator or Business), and you allow Linkento, through Meta, to read the comments on your posts and send messages for you;
- you are responsible for your rules and messages. They must follow section 7 and Instagram's Terms of Use, Community Guidelines and messaging rules, and must not be spam or advertising the commenter did not ask for;
- Instagram's limits apply: one private reply per comment, sent within 7 days of the comment, and a limit on how many messages an account can send in an hour. Some messages may not arrive, for example if the commenter does not accept messages;
- Meta decides whether and how this feature is available. If Meta changes or withdraws it, we may have to change or stop Auto DMs;
- we may pause Auto DMs on an account that misuses it.
Alerts and emails
Linkento sends emails needed for these tools to work, such as sign-up confirmations to your visitors, meeting confirmations to you and your visitor, emails about table requests to you and the guest, and alerts to you about new messages and scheduled links.
10. Insights
Linkento shows you statistics about visits to your page and clicks on your links. How far back you can see depends on your plan. These numbers are provided to help you and are approximate. For example, we filter out known bots and count repeat visits in a short period only once. Please do not rely on them for anything where exact figures matter.
11. Community designs
You can publish a page design to the Community gallery. When you do, other creators can see it with your username and install it on their own pages, and you give every Linkento user a free, non-exclusive licence to use, change and keep using that design on Linkento, even after you remove it from the gallery. Published designs never include your photos, videos, uploaded fonts or custom CSS. You may only publish designs you made or have the right to share. We may remove any design from the gallery.
12. Badges
Founding creator programme
You can invite other creators with your invite link, found in Settings. When someone creates an account through your invite link, or through the "Join" button on your page, finishes setting up their page within 7 days of creating their account, and publishes it with at least 3 links, you receive the Founding creator reward. The reward is, for 6 months from the day you earn it, a gold Founding creator badge on your profile photo and the features of the Pro plan at no charge. Each creator can earn the reward once. When the 6 months end, your account moves back to the plan you are paying for, or to Free.
The reward has no cash value and cannot be transferred. We may change or end the programme at any time; this will not take away a reward you have already earned. If we find that someone has abused the programme, for example with fake accounts, we may cancel the reward.
Verified badge
A blue Verified badge next to a creator's name means Linkento has confirmed that the account belongs to the person or brand it represents.
- Applying: creators on the Ultra plan can request the badge in Settings. A person at Linkento reviews every request, and we may approve or decline it at our discretion; we will tell you the reason if we decline. If a request is declined you can apply again after 30 days. Paying for Ultra lets you apply; it does not guarantee approval, and no part of the price is refunded if a request is declined.
- Well-known people and organisations: we may also verify well-known people, creators, brands and organisations ourselves, on any plan and at no cost, including when they write to us at contact@linkento.com from an official address.
- The badge itself cannot be bought, sold or transferred. It confirms who runs the account, not that we endorse them or what they post. We may remove it at any time, for example if the account changes hands, starts impersonating someone, or breaks these Terms. It stays in place if you later leave the Ultra plan.
You must only send documents that are yours, or that you are allowed to share on behalf of an organisation. Sending false or someone else's documents breaks these Terms.
13. Our content and brand
Linkento's software, design, templates, logos and the Linkento name belong to us. You may use our templates and design tools to build your Linkento page. You may not copy them for any other purpose, or use the Linkento name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Every page shows links to report the page, our policies and "About this account". Pages on the Free plan also show a "Join on Linkento" button. Please do not hide or remove these, except where your plan lets you hide the "Join on Linkento" button.
14. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Linkento without owing you anything.
15. Plans, payments and refunds
Plans
Linkento has a Free plan and paid plans, currently Pro and Ultra. What each plan includes, and its price, are shown on our pricing page. Free stays free; you only pay if you choose a paid plan.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in Indian rupees and are the full amount you pay. Nothing is added at checkout.
- Linkento is not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on your plan. If we register for GST later, we will tell you at least 30 days before GST is added to what you pay, including on plans you already have. GST added this way is a tax, not a price rise under "Price changes" below.
- Payments are taken by our payment provider, Razorpay, using UPI, cards, netbanking or other methods Razorpay offers. Your card, bank and UPI details go to Razorpay, not to us.
- You can pay monthly or yearly. Yearly costs less than twelve monthly payments.
Automatic renewal
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. When you buy a plan you authorise us, through Razorpay, to charge the same amount at each renewal using the payment method you chose. Your bank, card issuer or UPI app may notify you before each charge, as Reserve Bank of India rules require.
If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay may try again. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; if payment still has not succeeded by then, your account moves to Free.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Settings, Plan in your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your account moves to Free. Cancelling the mandate in your bank or UPI app has the same effect.
Refunds
- First payment: if you are not happy with a plan, email us at contact@linkento.com within 7 days of your first payment for that plan and we will refund that payment in full. This applies once per account for each plan.
- After that: payments are not refunded for the rest of a month or year you have started, including when you cancel part-way through. You keep the plan until the end of that period.
- Mistakes: if you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, we will refund the extra amount.
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Once we approve a refund, it usually reaches you within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.
- If we close your account because you broke these Terms, we do not refund the rest of the current period.
Switching plans
You can move between Pro and Ultra, or between monthly and yearly, in your dashboard. The new plan and its billing start straight away and the earlier subscription stops. If you had recently paid for the earlier plan, email us and we will refund or credit the unused part of it.
Price changes
We may change our prices. If we raise the price of a plan, the new price applies to new subscriptions. As long as you stay subscribed to a plan without a break, your price for that plan does not go up. If you cancel and later subscribe again, the price at that time applies.
When a paid plan ends
When your account moves to Free, the paid features stop working on your page, but we do not delete what you made with them. Your designs, settings, links and email list are kept, and the paid features come back if you subscribe again. While you are on Free, its limits apply: for example, your email list keeps its addresses but takes no new sign-ups above the Free limit, and contact messages older than 90 days are cleared.
16. Reporting content and grievances
If you see a page that breaks these Terms or the law, use the Report link at the bottom of that page. For any other complaint about Linkento, including about a payment, or if you prefer email, contact our Grievance Officer:
- Grievance Officer: Konetisetty Venkateswara
- Email: contact@linkento.com
Please include the page address, what the problem is, and how we can reach you. If your complaint is about your own rights, such as your copyright or your privacy, tell us how the content affects you.
We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days of receiving it. If the complaint is about content that shows a person's private areas, shows them fully or partly nude, shows them in a sexual act, or impersonates them in a way that includes artificially changed images, we will act to remove or disable access to that content within 24 hours of receiving the complaint.
When we remove content or restrict an account, we will tell the person concerned where we reasonably can, along with the reason, so they can respond.
17. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Linkento at any time. You can delete your account in Settings; this permanently deletes your page, links, insights, uploaded images and fonts, and the details your visitors sent you through your tools. If you have a paid plan, deleting your account also stops it from renewing.
We may remove content, hide a page, or suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law, creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we are required to by law or a lawful order of a court or government authority. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why. Where the law requires it, we may keep information about removed content or closed accounts for the period the law sets.
If your account is closed, these sections continue to apply: 5 (for copies already in backups), 11, 13, 15 (for refunds and amounts owed), 18, 19, 20, 21 and 23.
18. No warranty
We work hard to keep Linkento running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that Linkento will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it will meet every need you have. We may change, pause or stop parts of Linkento. If we stop a paid feature you are paying for, we will refund the unused part of your current period. If we plan to shut Linkento down completely, we will try to give you reasonable notice so you can save your content, and we will refund the unused part of any paid period.
19. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, followers or goodwill, arising from your use of Linkento;
- we are not liable for content posted by users, for websites that pages link to, or for services you connect to your page;
- our total liability to you for any claim about Linkento is limited to the greater of one thousand Indian rupees (INR 1,000) and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
20. Your responsibility to us
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content, the way you used your visitors' details or the services you connected, or because you broke these Terms or the law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from that claim, to the extent the law allows.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a concern, please contact us first at contact@linkento.com; most issues can be solved quickly that way. If a dispute cannot be solved informally, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Linkento grows or the law changes. We will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you in advance, for example by email or in your dashboard. If a change affects a paid plan you have, it takes effect from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. If you keep using Linkento after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
23. General
If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours if Linkento is reorganised or transferred to another owner, and we will tell you if that happens. These Terms, together with the Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Linkento.
