Take table requests on your page
Tables is made for restaurants, cafés and any place that seats guests. Guests ask for a table right from your page. Nothing is held until you accept, so you decide who comes and when.
- 1Step 1
Add Book a table to your page
In Links, tap Add block and choose Book a table. Change its heading or add a short line under it if you like, for example Dinner on the terrace.
- 2Step 2
Set your sittings
Open Apps, then Tables, then Settings. Sittings are the stretches guests pick from, for example Lunch from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm and Dinner from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The last time is the latest a guest can arrive. Then choose the time between slots: 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
- 3Step 3
Set your limits
Requests per time is how many tables one time can take. Once a time has that many waiting or accepted requests, guests see it as full. Also set the largest group, the days you are closed, the notice you need and how far ahead guests can ask.
- 4Step 4
Guests ask for a table
Guests tap Book a table, choose how many are coming, a day, a sitting and a time, then add their name, phone number and email. Each time shows Open, 1 left or Full. They get an email saying the request is sent and that the table is held only once you accept.
- 5Step 5
Accept or decline
We email you each request. In Apps, Tables, Requests, tap the tick to accept or the cross to decline. When you decline, pick a reason or write your own: it goes in the email to the guest. Tap a request to see the phone number, the email and the guest's note.

Good to know
- No money is taken. Book a table only sends requests: there are no deposits or online payments.
- A waiting request already counts towards its time, so a time cannot fill up twice while you decide.
- Turn off Take requests in Settings to pause. Guests then see that you are not taking requests right now.
- Times are in your time zone, where guests are coming to.
Questions
I asked for a table. Is it held?
Not yet. Your table is held only once the place accepts your request. We email you when they accept or decline.
How do I cancel my table as a guest?
Open the email we sent you, tap Manage your table, then Cancel my table. The place is told by email. This works until the time of your table.
What if two guests pick the last place at the same moment?
Only one gets it. The other is told the time just filled up and sees the times again.
What if I do not answer a request?
It stays in Requests and keeps its place until the time passes. Answer as quickly as you can, because the guest is waiting for your email.
Can a big group ask for a table?
Guests can pick up to your largest group. Bigger groups are asked to contact you directly.
Is it only for restaurants?
No. Cafés, bars, bakeries with seating, tasting rooms and cooking classes use it the same way: anywhere guests come at a set time.
