Header, layout and share preview

The top of your page is the first thing people see. Layout sets how your photo, name and bio sit, and how the whole page arrives on screen.

  1. 1Step 1

    Pick a header layout

In Appearance, open Layout and choose Classic, Side, Banner or Cover. Banner shows a cover picture with your photo below it; Cover shows only the picture, fading into your page, with your name under it. Both can play a short cover video, and Adjust the picture moves and zooms it.

  2. 2Step 2

    Shape your profile photo

Set Photo shape to Circle, Rounded, Squircle, Hexagon or Blob, choose a photo size, and add a ring: white, accent, Story or Turning.

  3. 3Step 3

    Set spacing and animation

Choose Compact, Cozy or Airy spacing between blocks, and a page animation of Fade, Slide up or Pop as your page opens.

  4. 4Step 4

    Control your share preview

Under Share preview, set the title, description and image people see when your link is shared in chats and on social apps. A wide image of 1200 × 630 works well.

Good to know

  • Without a share image, a preview of your page is used.
  • Show username adds your @handle under your name.

Questions

Why does my old preview still show in a chat?

Chat apps keep a copy of previews for a while. Links shared after your change show the updated preview.
